GREENS’ CO-LEADER JOINS CYCLISTS FOR FUNDRAISING BIKE RIDE

Photocall: 10am, Sunday 1 October, 2006, Tesco car park, Canonmills, Edinburgh.

Lothians Green MSP will be waving off a charity bike ride on Sunday morning to raise cash for facilities for adults with learning disabilities. The event is in aid of Garvald Centre which has its annual Fun Run bike ride this coming Sunday (1 October) with over 30 members cycling from 2-14 miles on the North Edinburgh cycle paths together with friends and families.

Mr Harper said, “The Garvald Centre is a fantastic facility that is highly-valued by all who use it. This bike ride is a fun way of getting everyone involved with the centre together for some fresh air and exercise, and raising some much-needed funds in the process. Good luck to all the cyclists!”

Mr Harper will be joined by Sarah Boyack MSP.
